Christian is the Executive Creative Director at YouTube's Creative Studio. He's responsible for the brand's global campaigns across its different products. In this role, he leads a team of creatives, strategists, producers, editors, animators, designers and operations that spans North America, LatAm, EMEA and APAC. He also watches a lot of obscure YouTube videos, for work, of course.
Before joining YouTube, Christian was a Global Creative Director for Google's Devices & Services where he worked across Pixel, Nest and Stadia, from advertising campaigns to branded content to experiential installations.
Previously, he was a partner and executive creative director at Goodby Silverstein & Partners where he spent eight years leading award-winning integrated campaigns for Sprint, Google, eBay, HP, GE, YouTube, Comcast and “Got Milk?”.
Prior to GSP, he spent seven years at Organic as VP Managing Director in São Paulo and later heading the creative department at the company’s headquarters in San Francisco. Before that, he founded Vizio, a leading Brazilian interactive agency he later sold to Organic, made a lot of money and lost everything a couple of days later when the dot-com bubble burst. He also worked as Art Director and Creative Director in traditional advertising and as Editor at a film production company.
Advertising Age & Creativity recognized Christian as one of the fifty most influential and inspiring creative personalities of 2010. In the same year, he made Campaign magazine’s Global Power List and MediaPost named him a Creative All-Star. He still wonders why.
