YouTube and Google DeepMind created a set of music AI experiments in close partnership with the music industry. These tools let artists, producers and songwriters instantly hear their ideas, transform audio from one music style to another, and create instrumental accompaniments just by humming it.
We also gave fans a chance to create music for their Shorts in the style of participating artists, including Charlie Puth, Charli XCX, Demi Lovato, John Legend, Sia, T-Pain, and Troye Sivan.
Wyclef Jean, Justin Tranter, and Marc Rebillet released demo tracks to showcase how they used AI to augment and speed up their creativity.
